Looks a whole lot better ^^ and they taste alot better as well.
This is what we in Netherland use in salads and eat with soup or sometimes eat it like it is since it just tastes good :P

Recipe:
250 gram selfrising flower (or 250 grams flower with 2 teaspoons of baking powder)
1,5 teaspoon of dry yeast
2 teaspoons (or less) sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1,5 dl milk
4 spoons of olive oil

Mix everything except the flower in a bowl or a measurecup and mix it well then put the flower and you're mixture together and kneed it well so that there are no lumps of flower :P (convenient if it is in a bowl ofcourse)
Let it rise/set (whatever) for a half hour with a clean dishtowel (not used ofcourse) over the bowl.
After that you put some flower on a plank and roll a little ball of the dough out to a thin stick. (do this several times)
Put youre creations on a bakingplate (with maybe a little olive oil to go against the sticking if it could happen)
Put some milk for a glossy colour on your creations
Oven on 175 degrees celsius with ventilation (this makes it dry like it should ^^)around 15 min. you let it bake and TADA! there you have your sticks

PS. Make your sticks and/or your creations not too big since this will keep it moist
